Along with the space benefit of the dual cylinder layout, the Punch also boasts a bigger CNG tank size compared to the Swift.
CNG variants of both Punch and Swift are options to consider if you are in the market looking for an affordable vehicle, which will have a low running cost. While one is a micro SUV, the other one is a hatchback. So If you want sporty looks, then you could consider the Swift. But if you want the stance and rugged looks of anSUV, then the Punch can be opted for.
In terms of features, there are hits and misses on either side, but it is the Swift’s Zxi variant which offers more functional equipment and value considering the fact that it is also cheaper than the top-end Punch CNG. Specifications are nearly identical, so the overall performance is expected to be similar when you drive in the CNG mode.
A critical factor for consideration can be the boot space. If you’ll find yourself using the boot a lot, then the Punch will be a better option for you with its dual cylinder layout liberating more usable space. If that’s not a factor, both are good options to consider, and the final decision can be based on your requirements. Which side are you on? Let us know in the comments below.
