Not really. I'll rather refer it as commuter. A little off-roading in hilly areas will be fine for the bike. Even if you stay at hill station with tarmac roads then this bike is great. It has enough torque compared with similar cc bikes.

CB Unicorn is a good commuting bike but the ride gets uncomfortable within 2 hours as the seat is not that soft. FZS is much better however the riding posture is different. In unicorn the riding posture is set back comfortable while the FZ has a little committed riding posture. I haven't ride the FZ but have the unicorn for almost a year now. As of my experience unicorn is powerful, it has the sufficient power and Torque plus it's seat height is low so for people with short height, this bike won't be a problem. Riding experience is good though however it can be improved by replacing with the hard seat with a soft one. During my time of riding the bike gave me around 50-55 KMPL . Overall the bike good in this price range and the CBS works like a charm however the rear drum brake with get loose after a fees months which can be fixed. You should test ride both the bikes but as of my experience unicorn is a very good bike.

The CB Unicorn 160 then does make an interesting case for itself. It has that typically refined Honda engine and a decent ride quality too. And of course, there is the efficiency. So if you are on a tight budget looking to buy a 150cc offering from Honda, the base variant of the CB Trigger should be the bike you bet your money on bearing in mind that it is a more premium offering. Not to forget that it has an equally good engine and great riding dynamics too. But if you want to pick up the top-of-the-line model with the Combi Brake System, the CB Unicorn 160 with its more powerful engine is the bike for you. Moreover, do take the test ride of the bike to clear all your doubts.

  • Q. I NEED FOR OFF ROAD RIDE WHAT IS PERFORMANCE OF 160 UNICORN FOR OFF ROAD
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 2 months ago

Honda CB Unicorn 160 comes with a Front Telescopic Suspension which gives a better ride quality and more stability at higher speeds and Spring Loaded Hydraulic Type (Mono Suspension) at rear side which will give a firmer ride. You can do a little bit off-road but in serious off-road, there will be an issue and might hamper the bike.
