Q. Which is better, Access 125 or TVS Jupiter?
  • Both the scooters are good to buy in their segment. TVS Jupiter offers a lot more features and variety (in the form of variants) than the Activa, thus making it a very sound proposition for those who want a reliable, no-nonsense scooter. The frugal engine, comfortable ride quality and the fact that it is cheaper than the Honda Activa despite offering much more make it our pick as the best 110cc scooter on sale. Whereas Suzuki has revamped the Access and by the looks of it it looks quite good. It now comes with SEP technology, alloy wheels, an optional front disc and with ride quality as its main focus. Access is a complete package and should help Suzuki make up lost ground despite the competition is rather stiff in the segment. Do take a test ride in order to pick one.
  • Access 125 beats the Jupiter, in my opinion.Access is lighter, has more power, a great pick-up, very good mileage, larger boot space and a good riding experience.Jupiter has good mileage too, but Access mileage is also right there.Access is a little more expensive though. But it's worth the extra price.
  • TVS Jupiter will be a better pick here as it offers a lot more features and variety. Making it a very sound proposition for those who want a reliable, no-nonsense scooter. Q. Which is the best Suzuki access 125 or TVS NTorq 125?
  • Both are very good scooters. Both are 125cc.Ntorq produces 9.4PS power while Access makes 8.7PSBut Access is lighter than Ntorq, so the power-to-weight ratio is similar for both.Ntorq is much better than Access in terms of features, pick-up and manoeuvrability cz it has bigger tires. However, if your primary reason to buy a scooter is daily commute and fuel efficiency matters to you, go for the Access. It gives me a mileage of 55kmpl when driving under or at 50 in cities on normal fuel. If I put higher octane fuel, it has also given me 62kmpl in city when driving under 50.If you want to just have fun on your scooter and are high on features like a digital console, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, etc. then go for Ntorq.I will admit that Ntorq is much more fun to ride than Access. But Access is much more practical than Ntorq.
  • The Suzuki Access 125 sports a more mature retro design than its competition. However, under the hood, it packs a peppy engine that is fun to ride. It also has decent enough features to satisfy the needs of being a family scooter, and ample amount of floorboard and underseat space. It also offers superior ride quality and comfort in the saddle for both the rider and pillion, making it the ideal family scooter choice. On the other hand, TVS NTorq ticks all the boxes when it comes to practicality and excitement. It offers an engaging ride experience, exceptional performance and a host of features never seen on an Indian scooter before. All this at an attractive price point of Rs 58,750 (ex-showroom Delhi). This helps it in undercutting its Honda and Aprilia rivals by a good margin, while almost matching its competition from Suzuki. It certainly gets a thumbs-up from our side. • In the present scenario, I would pick the NTorq 125. For 2k more, you get little more power which will be negated by the weight, better brakes, wider tyres, next gen instrument cluster with bluetooth connectivity and maps support and a much more refreshing design. TVS also has a better service network as compared to Suzuki. However, i would still wait for a while for the initial niggles to be fixed. Would wait for at least a year after the launch before i pickup a TVS vehicle. If i was in a hurry, would have gone for the Suzuki Access, as its a more tested bike.

Q. Which bike is better option Activa 5G or Access 125 special addition?
  • Suzuki has revamped the Access and by the looks of it it looks quite good. It now comes with SEP technology, alloy wheels, an optional front disc and with ride quality as its main focus. The Access is a complete package and should help Suzuki make up lost ground despite the competition being rather stiff in the segment.. Although the upgrade to LED headlights and the semi-digital console on the newer generation Honda Activa can’t be termed as a generation upgrade, it is crucial towards strengthening the Activa’s position in the Indian two-wheeler market further. Otherwise, the TVS Jupiter comes across as a more premium offering, considering the level of comfort, refinement, quality and practical features on offer. That said, we are certain that the Activa brand will continue to maintain its position as the best-selling scooter in India, owing to the name it has made for itself over the past decade. • If you need more power then go for Suzuki Access 125 whereas if you need more reliability the go for Honda Activa 5G. Honda Activa 5G price starts from Rs 53,865 and Suzuki Access 125 Price starts from Rs. 55,976. The claimed mileage for the Honda Activa 5G is 60 kmpl and for the Suzuki, Access 125 is 64 kmpl. • Don't go for Activa, as it's a name. Suzuki Access BS4 (NOT BS 6) is the best in 125 cc range scooterate and you may go for standard disk variant. By this way, you can have the best 125cc vehicle at reasonable rate.
