Q. Which is better KTM RC 390 or KTM 390 Duke
  • There is no doubt in this tht KTM is highly reputed company but I want to share my experience, I have ktm rc390 and have done hardly 29000 km on it. You can check me service records, all services are before time.. but my bike has started leaving black smoke. It has just done 29000km and leaving black smoke. It's engine oil level decrease drastically.I have give my bike in ktm service station, total cost is above 50000 Rs. That too it l take month to get repaired. Once u have purchased this bike, there is no good support from KTM. Every one is just looting money from you. You can just imagine the quality of engine which starts burning engine oil just after 29000 km.
  • My bike is ktm rc 390 ...Why i choosed this model because first of all i think rc is looking more musculr than duke ...if we look at its specifications both rc and duke having the same except its handling and ride postureBefore rc i had r15/pulsar 220 both are more or less same on its riding posture and handlingIf we look at duke its a staright sitting naked bike And i test drived once at that time i felt its little hard to ride in traffic means to do very tricky to make a fast manoeuvre rest in highways it gives a good rodong posture with no back pain or shoulder painThen also why i choose rc my mainly because of its handling and look
  • Both are powerful performance bikes...they are made to do drift or race..drift bi Duke 390 with supetmoto mode in which you can unlock rear abs for drifting lowers..can be used for short commute not touring..Rc 390 is a proper race track beast for leaning in the track..ultimate midrange..handling...which one is better? buy according to your needs...but Duke does all what rc does and more with supetmoto mode...

Q. Which is best KTM RC390 or Kawasaki Ninja 300
  • Writing my thoughts assuming you are going to use the bike in city and daily commute.Yamaha R3....Most Reliable, Fuel Efficient, Comfortable, can be used for city commute as well as for touring and has a very linear power delivery. It is little costly than the KTM RC but cheaper than the Ninja. But you can use it as long as you want it in your garage and will give you a better resale price as well. For Ninja, it is not at all reliable, and comes with a lot of maintainence cost - ride it or don't ride! Also its not a VFM machine. It is comfortable and little fuel efficient, but lacks service convenience as compared to Yamaha. For KTM RC, not at all comfortable, it is way too track focused and I assume you don't live on tracks here in India. Not at all a reliable machine and will stay good for a couple of years (can't ignore it's manufactured by Bajaj) and will show its ageing after that with service costs and sudden breakdowns. It is the cheapest sport bike out there in that range, but is certainly not the most ideal chose to make.
  • Rc390 is fun bike for short rides. But it heats a lot in busy traffic. I do agree with you about service and spare parts of ktm bikes. But if you live in capital cities like the Delhi, lucknow, Mumbai, pune etc then you don't have to worry about ninja bikes too. Ninja will always last longer than ktm. And you will get mob attention too while riding. Ninja is always a premium bike. Enjoy this, it requires handling with care! Also, you would love to see ninja 300 beating Rc390 in terms of top speed
  • Both have their pros and cons...refinement is flawless in Ninja and there are no vibrations as it's a parallel twin setup. RC has a very aggressive seating where as Ninja is very comfortable...In terms of after sales service and spare parts, KTM scores as Kawasaki service is very expensive

Q. Which bike should be owned between Bajaj 2019 Dominar 400 and KTM Duke 390?
  • For long-ride performance, mileage and durability Bajaj Dominar 400 will be the best option. Moreover, we would suggest you take the test drive of the vehicles so that you can understand the difference between the options which will help you to make a final decision for your purchase - Bike Dealer
  • If You Go Only for Power You Better Go for KTM RC390 , because Dominar is 34.5 bhp @ 8000 rpm , RC390 Have 44 bhp @ 9000 rpm , Power is Higher , But You'll Be a eye Catcher even in less Powered Dominar , You'll Have Better Mileage and Low Maintenance Comparing to RC in Dominar
  • Would suggest u to take a test ride. I tried both, and for my physique I felt dominor was comfortable. I am 6.1ft. From the reviews I got from the KTM personnel, the bike is powerful and easy to maneuver but high on maintenance! M a very satisfied with my dominor.
