As a rider 250 is a overall

3.8

As a rider 250 is a overall good bike.It has its merits and dimerits. The serviceing cost is a problem after the 3rd service, It becomes a bit costly, And it's ground clearance is weak even for solo rides you must be very careful riding it.But it gives you a very nice experience.

I own Duke250 bs62023 model

I own duke250 bs62023 model. It's good to ride in both city and highway. It is very comfortable. It give an mileage of around 30km to 35km.It's an refined engine unlike duke200 and 390 where the initial pickup is not that aggressive.Free services cost around 1800.It has an sexiest design which grabs attention in public and the build quality is perfect.

KTM 250 Duke (2017-2023) Pros and Cons

250 Duke (2017-2023) Positives Points: Refined and tractable engine; suspension setup is comfortable

250 Duke (2017-2023) Negatives Points: Lacks the signature KTM character, feels a bit too calm, and doesn’t compare with the 390 Duke in terms of features

Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The 250 Duke feels least like a KTM (within the company’s current Indian line up) thanks to its easy-going engine and comfy suspension. But it’s still a great choice for those who aren’t looking for outright aggressive performance, but want something that is fast enough without sacrificing everyday practicality and comfort.

Best Bike

On a visit to Sikkim a few years ago, I borrowed a friend's not-so-well-kept 250 duke and rode it in rain, Broken roads, Smooth hill tarmac, and steep inclines for about 110 kilometers. There were no abs on that bike, The chain wasn't lubed for a long time, The pedals were misaligned due to a fall, and some bits were stuck with tape. But in spite of all that, It was a joy to ride and a wonderful companion in the mountains. It was fast enough that I wouldn't get bored, And all of the 30 horsepowers seemed usable for a city rider like me. Cut to February 2022, And I walked out of a KTM dealership in Delhi with the bs6 version, Lovelier still in Galvano orange with the orange trellis and wheels. Aesthetically, I find the 250s to be the pick of the KTM range in India. The dual-channel abs, Slipper clutch, and the 390 headlights were a good sweetener to make up for the poor ground clearance on the bs6 bike. I also love that I get the old monochrome console, Keeping the link to the first Indian KTM alive. Seven months in, I feel like I have two motorcycles. A sedate daily commuter that is easy to ride and rather peaceful. And the devil that exists north of 7000 rpm, Which sounds and accelerates like a completely different machine. It handles like a dream and inspires so much confidence. Perched in the monetary sweet spot for those who want something better equipped than the 200 and don't want to stretch to the 390, This is a great bike to have. The 250 adventure, Similarly priced, Could have been more versatile, But on the razor edge of precise handling, With a lot less weight to carry around, This is a wonderful motorcycle. Whether or not you own a 250 duke, Dear reader, I hope the bike you ride inspires the same joy in you.

Long rides

3.8

I find that this duke is perfect for city commutes, getting to and from work is fun with this ride. Fun things: Its got power after you rev past a few RPMs, which means it is quick enough and you'll love it.I think this is the best looking ride in the naked bike segment in its class and slightly above as well. If you ride 20kms rather economically every day, Rs. 00 per week should cover your fuel expenditure. It is quite comfortable for those relatively long rides. The headaches: Sluggish performance when accelerating to the mid range from the low range, it"s almost as if though it does not want to sprint. Very annoying and dangerous whilst trying to overtake. Brakes are simply not powerful enough for the power output or high speeds. The absence of an ABS makes it worse and dangerous at high speeds. You would have to take it to a technician every now and then to adjust the slack on the chain for optimum performance. Parts tend to get damaged quickly within a year, and screws, nuts and bolts tend to fall off rather quickly. The rear shock absorber for instance was totally replaced even though I had been using it for city commute. The halogen bulb headlight makes the bike look bad. Could have come with a TFT screen. Conclusion: Fun city bike with enough power to thrill on an occasional long jaunt. You"ll eventually love riding it around town as long its maintained well at short intervals.

Higher rpm

4.6

In my opinion no bike comes near to styling of KTM Duke 250. Whenever I park my bike anywhere some people always try to touch my bike. In my office people whom I don"t know also know me by the bike. When it comes to power it"s got crazy power packed if you are beginner u will definitely lose the handlebars once this beast accelerates. I ride rough so I get mileage between 20-25 in city maybe if I ride smoothly I might get 30. Exhaust note is really beautiful once u go faster with higher rpm. When i bought bike my bike had lot of vibrations which went of after 1000km. Its a bike for people who don"t care about spending money. This bike has wide handlebars so it"s sometimes difficult to get through small gaps. This bike is also very heavy at 166kg if you are weak guy u will have lot of trouble moving the bike. Also the seat height is very high for 5"10 because sometimes when the ground level is a little lower than normal (like pothole or something) u will find it difficult to put legs down. But this can be avoided to certain extent by adjusting the rear suspension.I wouldn"t recommend this bike for short guys.Maintenance cost is around 1k per service.

lightweight construction

The Duke 250 performs at a level consistent with the ktm history. The 248.8cc single-cylinder engine is a brute, providing more than enough power and torque for both cruising in cities and travelling on highways. The bike easily accelerates to greater speeds and does so with lightning-fast speed. It is an absolute delight to ride because to the quick throttle and the seamless power delivery. The duke 250's outstanding handling is one among its most notable qualities. You can confidently negotiate tight turns and winding roads because to how agile and responsive the bike feels. Every ride will be exciting and delightful because to the chassis' superb stability and control, which are provided by its lightweight construction and well calibrated suspension.

Duke owner

As per my concern of being a duke owner. This one could be really a mid range priced high power nude bike, The power you get gives you the feel which never gets old.It also have a very low ground clearance so, It could be so risk for a total city drive but it will be soo cosy kinda feel on a high way drive. The duke's look is soo attractive that it would be cool.Little smoothier than the previous update, So it's a good choice to choose this one when you can't have a 390 but want to experience it you can try it, Also a perfect stunt bike.

I had the best experience

I had the best experience on it compared to any bike in this sector, The pickup is dammm fast also smooth, Talking about mileage is also fine, This bike is all about power, You can either have power or average, I choose power and this in a beast in term of power, Also the build quality is superb, The suspension are smooth, Also high speed needs good braking and braking in duke 250 is on next level not even a single wiggle even on high speed, It’s a beast

Strong lines

4.6

I saw a ktm 250 duke on the road and it was love at first sight. The sleek and aggressive look of the bike immediately drew my attention. With its strong lines and vibrant colour palette, The dynamic style emanates strength and sportiness.I couldn't help but be intrigued by its presence on the road as it sped by.The agility and rapid acceleration of the ktm 250 duke demonstrate its performance and handling qualities.Overall the bike is excellent.
