I m sure that tvs apache 180 is better than KTM 125 in many aspects. First thing is that the ride is more comfortable on apache 180 in comparison to ktm 125, when you ride apche on max speed it control and stop whith in short distance while ktm takes little bit more distnce, but it depends the quality nd condition of ur bike disc plate and disc pad both. But look wise ktm is more attractive and sporty look, pick up is little bit good in ktm bike.

Hi, I own a 2015 Apache RTR 180 and have faced quite a bit of vibrations throughout my ownership experience. However, I recently got into maintenance myself and started restoring my motorcycle from ground up. Now to answer your question, most vibrations are due to loose bolts especially in the tail section. However there is one main vibration that comes from the headlight section which is what most people feel at around 5000rpm as mentioned here. Just a few days ago, I took apart that entire section and I believe I found the source of that vibration. The headlamp itself has an inherent design flaw. There is about a 1mm tolerance between the parabolic reflector and the rest of the headlamp housing. This might not seem like much but that small gap is more than enough to cause vibrations. Plus, If you remove the bulb and use your finger to check the reflector, the sound it makes while moving is the same as the vibration. I don't think this is because the assembly is broken as it is fairly new so it is more likely that it is a design problem. Especially since so many of us face this vibration. I am currently working on a way to dampen the vibration as much as I can. If I get a successful fix I will surely put it up on this thread. But the reason I'm writing this now is to tell people where the vibration is coming from. So if any of you were confused as to where the vibration is coming from, now you know. And if this leads to any of you finding a clever solution, please let everyone else know. Cheers guys.
