The Mahindra XUV 3XO (XUV300 facelift) has been teased yet again and this time with a segment-first feature: a panoramic sunroof. Slated for an unveiling on April 29, it would become the first model in its segment to boast this particular feature. The Mahindra XUV 3XO is basically the XUV300 facelift with a new name, cosmetic revisions, and updated features.

The teaser also gives a sneak peek into the upcoming model’s cabin, which will get a similar dashboard layout as the updated XUV400. That includes a floating 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a floating touchscreen infotainment system and updated controls for the dual-zone climate control.

We could also discern the presence of a three-point seatbelt for the middle occupant, which is also an update. Other expected features include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and rear AC vents with a Type-C USB charger. It could also get select ADAS features, considering the competition gets it too.
To know more about the exterior design updates of the Mahindra XUV 3XO, head to this report.

No changes are expected under the hood. That means the Mahindra XUV 3XO could continue with the existing engine options, which include a 110PS 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, 130PS 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, and a 117PS 1.5-litre diesel. A 6-speed manual is offered as standard, while the 6-speed AMT is optional with the base turbo-petrol and diesel engines.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO, as mentioned above, will be unveiled on April 29. One can expect it to command a notable premium over the outgoing XUV300, which is priced from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will renew its rivalry with the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger.
