Tata Motors has teased the 2023 Harrier facelift’s interior for the first time ahead of its expected launch in the coming weeks. Pre-launch bookings for the facelifted model are set to begin on October 06. This will be the first major design refresh for Tata’s midsize SUV, which has been on sale since January 2019.
The 2023 Tata Harrier facelift will feature a heavily revised dashboard with more horizontal lines and modern design touches. The teaser gives a sneak peek into the cabin, which features the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display from the Nexon EV.
Also, Tata has now implemented ambient lighting, expected to get multiple colours, underlining the dashboard, giving it a modern look. Lastly, Tata’s new steering wheel with illuminated logo also makes its presence felt.
Earlier, Tata also gave a sneak peek at the Harrier 2023 facelift’s fascia, and you can read about it here.
The Tata Harrier facelift is already a feature-loaded car and we expect most of the features such as a powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger and a 9-speaker JBL sound system to be carried forward.
As for safety, it should continue featuring six airbags, electronic stability control, parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and ADAS features as well.
The Tata Harrier should carry forward its 170PS 2-litre diesel engine, teamed with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission. Also, Tata could plonk in the 1.5-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine, which is expected to get a DCT automatic transmission and a manual gearbox.
Considering the numerous updates on board, we expect the Harrier to command a notable premium over the current model that’s priced from Rs 15.19 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to lock horns with MG Hector, Mahindra XUV700 5-seater, Jeep Compass as well as compact SUVs such as Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
