It is available for booking with a token amount of Rs 11,000.
It is offered in three variants: Excite, Exclusive and Essence.

It has a 38 kWh battery pack and a claimed range of 332 km.

The MG Windsor EV has received 15,176 orders within the first day of booking commencement. The electric crossover is arguably one of the most popular launches lately, and its aggressive pricing has surely attracted the attention of a lot of people. If you don’t know what the hype is all about, read on to find out the details of MG’s latest EV:
The MG Windsor EV is the Indian counterpart of the internationally available Wuling Cloud EV and it brings almost all the premium offerings like its sibling except for a few gaps left in its powertrain. Its unique crossover body style looks fresh with its fascia sporting LED projector headlights with a connected LED DRL.
From the sideline, the car flaunts an aerodynamic design along with 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and flush door handles. Moving to the back, you see a glass antenna and connected LED tail lights.
Inside the Windsor EV, you get plenty of features, including a large 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front row seats with powered driver seats, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering, a large panoramic glass roof, cruise control, wireless phone charger and automatic climate control.

Rear passengers can have lounge-like comfort with the 135-degree multi-level reclining rear seats, and that experience is further enhanced by 256-colour ambient lighting and a 9-speaker Infinity sound system.
On the safety front, it carries 6 airbags, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic stability control (ESC), electronic parking brake with auto hold, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX and a 360-degree camera with rear parking sensors.
Under the hood, the Windsor EV packs in a single 38 kWh battery pack which powers the motor that returns 136 PS and 200 Nm. With this setup, the car gets a claimed range of up to 332 km. The battery does support fast charging capability of up to 45 kW, which can juice up the battery from 10 to 80% power in 55 minutes.

Prices for it range between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 11.99 lakh(ex-showroom) under the Battery-as-a-Service program where you need to pay Rs 3.5 per km extra for the battery usage (depending on the financer). You can also have the car inclusive of the battery, prices for which will range from Rs 13.5 lakh to Rs 15.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The Windsor EV rivals the Tata Punch EV directly while it is also an alternative to the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
