Started back in 2012, Wrangler’s True Wanderer has evolved into a community of like-minded bikers who share a common love for adventure and exploration. This time, the True Wanderer Season 5.0 contest, was bigger, better and bolder than the previous ones.

Out of thousands of participants, 10 lucky finalists from 9 cities were selected to go on the ride of their lives. And out of those 10, Gaurav Siddharth from Lucknow earned the title of the Wrangler True Wanderer 2016 and walked away with a brand new Triumph Street Twin motorcycle.

Gaurav, on his Hero Impulse, spent almost an entire year on the road traveling and exploring places across the nation. He also holds a Guinness Book World Record for the longest motorcycle journey in India covering over 83,400km.

Gaurav has been putting forth the story of his journey through words and pictures, which can be found on his blog on the True Wanderer website. Alongside him, the first runner-up of the contest was Shreyansh Latthe from Gangtok and the second runner-up was Vishnu Goyal from Pune.

Krishna Dorai, general manager of Wrangler India, and Vimal Sumbly, MD of Triumph Motorcycles, India, were at the event to present Gaurav Siddharth with his brand new Triumph Street Twin and the title of True Wanderer 2016.

Speaking on the occasion, Vimal Sumbly said, “It has been an absolute delight to see the content and photographs that the participants have shared. It is their passion and hard work that have made True Wanderers 5.0 a grand success.”
