Here’s what stood out this past week

Things have been getting back on track for the auto industry as we are looking forward to more exciting things like the launch of the Triumph Tiger 900 and the BMW S 1000 XR. This past week though, we had Triumph riding in new Bonnie variants and a number of price hikes. Here’s a small glimpse into the past week:

BS6 Jawa Specifications Revealed
Classic Legends had announced the prices of the BS6 Jawas in early-March but didn’t reveal the specs back then. Now that everything seems to be up and running, we finally know how much the BS6-compliant version of the 293cc single-cylinder engine makes. More about it here.

Triumph Bonneville Black Editions Launched

Bajaj & TVS Hike Prices Of BS6 Models
The first round of price revisions have taken place for TVS’s two-wheelers with the maximum hike reserved for the Apache RTR 160 2V at around Rs 3,500. Interestingly, Bajaj has increased the prices of its Platina and CT models once again, just two months after its last price revision.
