The all-electric sedan is offered in a total of four trims

The recently launched facelifted Tata Tigor EV, priced from Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), is offered in four trims: XE, XM, XZ+, and XZ+ Dual Tone. In this report, we explain the features on offer with each trim, so you can pick the right one: 

XE

ZW-Tata-Tigor-EV-XE

Price: Rs 11.99 lakh

The Tigor EV’s base-spec XE is the barebones trim in the lineup. It only comes with the basics, including:

  • LED tail lamps

  • Automatic climate control

  • Height-adjustable driver’s seat

  • Tilt-adjustable steering wheel

  • Front power windows

  • Charger for front-seat occupants

  • Manually adjustable ORVMs

  • Digital driver display

  • Dual airbags

  • ABS with EBD

  • Rear parking sensors

XM

ZW-Tata-Tigor-EV-XM

Price: Rs 12.49 lakh

For a Rs 50,000 premium, the XM packs the following additional features:

  • Full wheel covers

  • Remote locking using flip key

  • All four power windows

  • 2-DIN infotainment system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity

  • Four-speaker Harman sound system

  • Speed dependent auto door lock

  • Rear parking camera

XZ+

Price: Rs 12.99 lakh

For another Rs 50,000 premium, the top-spec XZ+ goes the whole hog. It packs the following  features over and above the previous two trims: 

  • LED DRLs

  • Halogen projector headlamps

  • Front fog lamps

  • ORVMs with turn indicators

  • Steel wheels with plastic wheel covers that mimic an alloy rim

  • Keyless entry with push-button start

  • Rear armrest with cupholders

  • Phone charger for rear-seat occupants

  • Cooled glove box

  • Electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs

  • 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system

  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

  • Connected car tech

  • 8-speaker Harman sound system (4 speakers + 4 tweeters)

  • Rear defogger

  • Follow me home headlamps

PS: The Tigor EV XZ+ Dual tone, based on the XZ+, comes with a black roof and at a nominal premium of Rs 15,000

Trivia 

  • The facelifted Tata Tigor EV is propelled by a 75PS electric motor that draws power from a 26kWh battery pack.

  • It has an ARAI-claimed range of 306km. 

  • As with all EVs, you can fast charge the electric sedan from 0-80 percent in an hour

  • The Tigor EV can be had in two colours: Daytona Grey and Teal Signature Blue. 

  • It doesn’t have any direct rival, but will soon lock horns with the upcoming Mahindra eKUV100.
