The Indian arm of Swedish bus maker, Scania Commercial Vehicles India (SCVI), has delivered Metrolink Coaches to SRS Travels in Bangalore, Karnataka. Ramalinga Reddy, Minister of Transport and Minister in Charge - Bangalore Urban, Government of Karnataka handed over the keys of the Metrolink coach to KT Rajashekhara, Proprietor, SRS Travels.
Speaking on this occasion, Anders Grundstromer, Managing Director, Scania India and Senior Vice President said, “We are delighted to formally handover our first Scania Metrolink Coaches to SRS Travels. The advanced technology and design of these coaches introduces a new level of performance on the Indian market. It offers significant fuel savings and thereby CO2 reductions, as well as outstanding comfort and safety for the passengers.”
Scania products and services are known for outstanding `total operating economy' including maximum uptime, great fuel economy with lesser impact on the environment. The company takes good care of drivers realising that the driver has a vital role for operating economy, safety and repair costs in any transport operation.
