Pavan Shetty joins Porsche India as director

37-year old Pavan Shetty, best known as Lamborghini India’s dynamic head of operations, has been appointed as director of Porsche India. He will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales and aftersales operations of the German sportscar brand while also handling its marketing and network development. For the record, Lamborghini and Porsche both are owned by the Volkswagen group. 

Pavan has helped Lamborghini carve a niche for itself among uber-rich petrolheads in the country in a relatively short time span of three years, and has now also been entrusted with the responsibility of helping strengthen Porsche presence in the country, and enhance its customer experiences. The iconic German sportscar brand has grown immensely in terms of popularity in India over the past couple of years, especially after the Volkswagen group took over its reins rom the erstwhile retailer in India. Pavan joining the brand is only expected to see its customer base grow substantially given his experience in the industry.
