New majority shareholder for HRT highlights

Thesan Capital, a Spanish investment group becomes the bulk shareholder after an agreement with former owner of the team Jose Ramon Carabante.



Bettering the team’s performance will the primary focus of Thesan apart from advancing the team’s Spanish identity. HRT as a team has not been exceptional on the track ever since its birth in 2010 by Formula One driver Adrian Campos. The team was later taken over by Carabante and stands over Virgin-Cosworth in the season so far.    



Despite the change in stake holding, Thesan confirmed that the current team and director line-up will be retained for the rest of the season.
