Mahindra has unveiled its new logo which will debut on the upcoming XUV700. Unlike the rounded design of the old logo, the new 'Twin Peaks' shape that form a M make it more sleek and upright. It gives the car manufacturer a more modern outlook, considering that it’s set to revamp its entire portfolio in the coming years.
The new logo will be underlined by the brand’s tag -- “Explore The Impossible.” Also, the existing passenger vehicles will be updated with the new logo in a phased manner. The old ‘Road Ahead’ logo will be retained for the manufacturer’s commercial and farm products as well, which makes sense considering that the aim is to differentiate the company's passenger and commercial vehicles segment.
Mahindra is all set to launch nine new SUVs in the next five years. The onslaught of SUVs will be kick started by the new XUV700, which is set to debut in the coming days. Besides, Mahindra is also working on a 5-door version of the Thar, the next-gen Scorpio and Bolero, and even two ground up all-electric SUVs.
With the SUV giant bringing in more technologically advanced, feature loaded, and some highly admirable products (like the Thar), the new logo gives the company a fresh outlook. It will help Mahindra change its brand’s image which, until now, was seen as just a robust SUV manufacturer and not much else.

Mahindra will start updating its 1,300 passenger vehicle touchpoints with the new logo by 2022. Its next launch is the XUV700 three-row SUV, essentially a replacement for the XUV500. The upcoming midsize SUV will be loaded with features and be much more powerful than its predecessor. It will likely be priced from Rs 16 lakh, putting it in the same league as the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus.
