Mahindra has unveiled the AdrenoX, its new infotainment system software, which will debut in the upcoming XUV700. The SUV’s two 10.25-inch screens, comprising the infotainment system and digital driver’s display, will run on Mahindra’s latest infotainment system software.

Developed in collaboration with Visteon, the XUV700’s dual screens feature cockpit domain controller technology with Qualcomm Snapdragon Automotive Cockpit Platforms. Thanks to the advanced hardware, Mahindra has integrated plenty of new features into these screens.
The SUV giant has teamed up with Amazon to offer AI Alexa connectivity. So you could link your SUV to your Amazon device and operate certain features, similar to the one in the new City. But, the new XUV700 goes a step ahead and integrates Alexa connectivity in the car so you can operate certain features with the help of Alexa, including playing your favourite playlist from Prime music as well as operating climate control and ambient lighting. The hotword for accessing these features will be “Alexa.”

Mahindra could also bundle in a free Prime subscription for a fixed duration so XUV700 customers can enjoy the full experience. This feature debuted in the Lamborghini Huracan and you can watch its functionality here:
Also, the Sony 3D sound system with roof-mounted speakers is claimed to offer the best-in-segment audio experience, but we’ll have to test that once we get our hands on the SUV. Last but not least, the diesel variants of the XUV700 will also have drive modes, namely: Zip, Zap, Zoom, and Custom (Individual). It remains to be seen if the petrol variants of the XUV700 come with these drive modes.

As we inch closer to the debut of the XUV700 in August, Mahindra has been teasing more details of the upcoming SUV. Some notable features on board include LED headlamps with high beam assist, arrow-head LED tail lamps, personalised voice-based safety alerts, flush-fitting door handles, and possibly MG-Gloster like Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The upcoming SUV is likely to be priced from Rs 16 lakh, putting it in the same league as the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, and MG Hector Plus.
