Luminous Power Technologies launches Automotive Batteries

Better known for its power backup solutions here in India, Luminous has been a significant contributor to the country’s power problems and has been implemented by umpteen family homes in the country, whose infrequent power supply often poses to be a huge inconvenience. While Luminous’s presence in India is (at least till now) was limited to its highly reliable power products for Indian homes, as a brand Luminous has a strong foothold in over 36 countries worldwide.

With a product portfolio that stretches from distributed power generation and renewable energy solutions to plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, the Sachin Tendulkar endorsed UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) appliances brand now extends the reach of its products to the Indian automotive industry. 

The company has now introduced its technologically advanced range of all new maintenance free batteries, which include the Luminous ELECTRA & Luminous START for four-wheeler passenger cars, and a separate RACER range of batteries, specifically for motorcycles running on Indian roads.
