Accessories package features upgrades such as Pioneer music system, front fog lamps, full wheel covers and a reverse parking camera.
It will be powered by the S-Cross’ only engine option: a 105PS 1.5-litre petrol engine with a mild hybrid system.
Like the Sigma variant, it is offered with a standalone 5-speed manual transmission.
The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross has seen a limited run addition to its variant lineup in the form of the Sigma Plus. Priced at Rs 8.39 lakh (ex-showroom) the Plus is based on the base Sigma variant with some additional features via an accessories package.

The additional bits include a Pioneer music system with four speakers, front fog lamps, and a reverse parking camera. It also gets full wheel covers, a rear parcel tray, and a black spoiler. All these features are missing from the base-spec Sigma variant and the entire package rounds up to a cost of Rs 36,997.

Under the hood, the S-Cross is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine as standard. It produces 105PS and 138Nm. It also gets a mild-hybrid system which assists with torque boost and start-stop functionality. Although the S-Cross petrol featured a 4-speed automatic transmission option for the first time, the Plus, like the Sigma, is offered only with the 5-speed manual transmission as a standalone option.

Launched in August, the S-Cross petrol has become more affordable than its diesel predecessor, priced from Rs 8.39 lakh to Rs 12.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The addition of the Plus variant will not affect the price range of the S-Cross, which is still one of the most affordable cars against similarly sized competitors like the Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos.
