Honda has launched an option pack variant for the recently launched Mobilio that features an Audio Video Navigation system that doubles up as a display for the rear parking camera. This option pack is available with the top-spec V trim for both the petrol and the diesel and will also be available in the Mobilio RS when it goes on sale by mid-September. The AVN system features a 15.7 cm touch screen loaded with maps, satellite-based voice guided navigation, can play MP3s, DVDs and CDs and has radio, Bluetooth, USB, Aux-in and i-POD connectivity.
Honda had initially planned to have the AVN system as part of the features list at the launch itself but post feedback when the car was given for reviews, this feature was pulled back. The screen had poor visibility during the day when we tested the car. Honda has resolved this issue and launched it as an option pack on the top trim.
The AVN equipped Mobilio costs Rs 70,000 more than the V variant. For the price, you get a reversing camera, satellite navigation and a DVD player over it.
Prices –
V(O) MT (Petrol) – Rs 9.46 lakh
V(O) MT (Diesel) – Rs 10.45 lakh
RS(O) Diesel – Rs 11.55 lakh
All prices ex-showroom, Delhi
