Gautam Singhania scores twin podiums at Ferrari Challenge EU

Gautam Hari Singhania became the first Indian driver to register double podium finishes in the Ferrari Challenge EU series as he finished in third position in both the races at Monza, Italy

It was a perfect start to the 2015 season of the Ferrari Challenge Europe Championship 2015 for Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, Raymond Limited as he scored two podium finishes. Singhania finished in third position in both Race 1 and Race 2 and had qualified fourth and third positions respectively. The season opener of the Ferrari Challenge Europe Championship 2015 was held at the legendary Monza race track in Italy. With this twin podium performance, Singhania became the first Indian driver to achieve this feat in Ferrari Challenge EU. The noted industrialist raced with the renowned Swiss Team named Kessel Racing that has registered numerous wins and an exhaustive experience under its belt. Former F1 driver and current GT driver Andrea Motermini is currently his coach.

Commenting on his performance, Gautam Hari Singhania said “It is a proud moment for me to secure a double podium finish at the first race of this prestigious Ferrari event. It has been a dream weekend for me as this was a big challenge and I have set my sights on the Championship and World Finals 2015.”
