Here’s A Comprehensive List Of All Bikes Up To 200cc Launched In 2020

We’re just a couple of weeks away from ending this horrendous year -- a year that witnessed one of the worst pandemics leading to a global recession. Months after the lockdown was lifted, the two-wheeler industry seems to be stabilising and registering positive numbers. This wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for timely launches, festive season offers, and comprehensive updates for certain motorcycles. KTM 200/125 Duke

KTM had a little surprise planned for us enthusiasts when it revealed its BS6 model lineup on January 20, 2020. The 200 Duke finally received its biggest update since its launch back in 2012 with a new design language inspired by its elder sibling, the 390 Duke. The bike now features sharper styling, revised ergonomics, and a larger fuel tank. It’s priced at Rs 1,76,845. Here’s everything you need to know about the bike.

To our surprise, KTM followed this up with the launch of the 2021 125 Duke on December 7. The brand launched the bike with the exact same styling seen on the 200 Duke, albeit with new colour options for Rs 1,50,010. More details here.

Honda Hornet 2.0 

Honda has been on a roll since the beginning of the year. One of the many two-wheelers it launched in 2020 is the all-new Hornet 2.0. The bike’s been developed as a new platform that will take the fight to Bajaj and TVS in the 200cc motorcycle space. It’s been styled to carry the essence of the older Hornet, although, in a new avatar. As a result, you get a sportier-looking bike with LED lights, USD forks, sharper body panels, and a slightly more powerful engine. More information here. 

Hero Xtreme 160R 

The Xtreme 160R has to be one of the best motorcycles launched this year. It’s priced competitively and offers a whole lot more for the money. Dial in the fact that it’s easy to use and handles exceptionally well and you have a bike that’ll sell. The Xtreme 160R was launched on June 30 and currently has a starting price of Rs 1,02,000. Bajaj Dominar 250

The Dominar 400 is an amazing tourer, but it lacks character and has also become quite expensive over the years, putting it out of reach for enthusiasts on a budget. Thankfully, Bajaj has plugged the gap by launching the Dominar 250, and boy does it impress! We believe this is what the Dominar was always meant to be.
