Two and a half months after Suzuki's Alvaro Bautista broke his left femur in a crash during the first practice session during the season opener in Qatar, the Spanish racer is likely to race at Portugal this weekend

Alvaro is undergoing an intense physiotherapy to make sure that he is fit enough to race this weekend. In case Alvaro is not fit enough for the race, Suzuki will have test rider Nobuatsu Aoki on his toes to be ready to race even in short notice. Needless to say, the Spanish racer will have to go through a full-fledged medical test with respect to his racing fitness. Alvaro was spotted practicing on a supermotard yesterday judging by which the medical test will seem like a mere formality.
