Not everyone can afford an entry level Rolls-Royce, let alone the Cullinan with its fat price tag north of Rs 7 crore. But Rolls-Royce has your back. You can buy this highly detailed Cullinan scale model that can even be customised to your liking. But there’s a small catch. You’ve got to take a call here. It’s either the 1:8 scale model of the Cullinan or an actual car, like say a brand new Honda Civic. Yes, an actual Honda Civic that you can drive around with your family against a scale model which you can keep inside your showcase wardrobe. Wow, which colour will your Civic be?

If you’re still interested in the scale model, you might want to read this. Rolls-Royce clearly had a lot of free time to play around with. The scale model is painstakingly handcrafted with 1000 individual components to a client’s specification. It takes a casual 450 hours (almost 19 days) to create one scale model. Whaat! Toyota can make a car in less than 20 hours.

The scale models are handcrafted at the home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England. The attention to detail doesn't end there as Rolls-Royce also hand paints these cars and polish them to exact specifications. The coachline is applied using a fine brush, identical to the actual SUV. Speaking of colours, you can choose between 40,000 shades or just create your own custom shade. Headrest embroidery, wood finishes and stitching are some of the other areas which you can customize.

The scale model also features fully functional exterior lights and illuminated scuff plates. Of course, you get a highly detailed 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine under the hood. The model is presented inside a glass case almost a metre in length, mounted on a gloss-black base. The glass case can also be removed if you want to take a look at all the intricate details and justify your Rs 27 lakh purchase.
This price also makes the Cullinan scale model one of the most expensive on planet earth. There’s a whole world of them actually. Nevertheless Rolls-Royce says “Small things make perfection, but perfection is no small thing.” But Rs 27 lakh is also no small thing if you ask us.
