The new sedan is the most powerful Dzire ever produced

Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2020 Dzire in India, and it is available in four variants -- Lxi, Vxi, Zxi, and Zxi+. The carmaker has removed the 1.3-litre diesel engine from its lineup for the BS6 era. The 2020 Dzire is a petrol-only sedan powered by a 1.2-litre Dualjet engine. Lxi: Manual Transmission Only

The most affordable variant costs Rs 5.89 lakh (ex-showroom) and is only available with a manual transmission. It gets government-mandated standard safety features but loses out on a tachometer, door pad fabric, reversing camera, central locking, and body-coloured door handles. All models come standard with idle start/stop.

If the base trim seems too spartan, Vxi adds an audio player and most of the Dzire’s comfort features. It costs Rs 6.79 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 7.31 lakh for the AGS automatic (ex-showroom Delhi). Outside temperature display and electronic stability program (ESP) are only available on the AGS model.

The manual Zxi Dzire costs Rs 7.48 lakh, while the AGS automatic costs Rs 8.00 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This is the variant to get if you want the advanced Smartplay Studio infotainment system.
