2016 Auto Expo: 80 New Vehicles to be Unveiled

Last week we reported that the 2016 Auto Expo that is schedule to kick off on 5th February is expected to be the largest ever in terms of foot fall. For all those who are planning to make a visit, there will be a lot of exciting vehicles to droll over. In a recent announcement the organisers revealed that 80 new vehicles are expected to be unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo. 

The number of vehicles to be unveiled has risen up by 20 per cent from the previous edition and almost doubled up from 2012. Some of the new cars that are expected to be unveiled include a new compact sedan from Volkswagen, Honda’s compact SUV BR-V, Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet and more. Motorcycle enthusiasts will be in for a treat too. Benelli is expected to unveil the new Tornado 302 and TRK 502. UM Motorcycles will also being in two new cruiser motorcycles. BMW Motorrad will be a new entrant at the 2016 Auto Expo and is expected to officially come to India.

We applaud the efforts that have gone into making this edition of the Auto Expo bigger, better and more exciting.” 

Considering the scale of the 2016 Auto Expo, the venue will also be spread over a larger area. The 73,000sq metres of area will be divided in 6 halls with an additional carpet area of over 37,000 sq metres. The 2016 Auto Expo is scheduled from 5th February to 9th February.
