While it's a goodbye to the iconic V10 engine, the new plug-in hybrid powertrain is much more powerful, propelling the beast from 0-100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds!

Revealed first in 2024, the gorgeous-looking Lamborghini Temerario is all set to arrive in India on April 30, 2025. The Temerario is essentially the Hurcan’s successor, and will be positioned below the Revuelto in Lamborghini's India lineup. After the larger Revuelto, the Temerario will become the second supercar from the Sant’Agata Bolognese carmaker to get a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Without further ado, let’s buckle up and take a closer look at the Temerario:

The Numbers…

While the Temerario misses out on the V10 magic, its new powertrain makes it more powerful and quicker off the line! The powertrain includes a 4-litre V8 engine coupled with three electric motors! The engine alone is good enough to produce 800 PS and 730 Nm, but with the help of the electric motors, the combined output jumps to 920 PS and 800 Nm.

With so much power on tap, it rockets from nought to 100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds, and is capable of achieving a top speed of 340 kmph. It features an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the engine to redline at 10,000 rpm.

Fun fact: The Temerario is around 40 percent more powerful than the Huracan, which used to make 640 PS. Additionally, it is also around half a second quicker than the Huracan. While being quicker, it also reduces CO2 emissions by up to 50 percent compared to the Huracan.

The electric motors are powered by a 3.8 kWh battery pack, which can be completely recharged in just 30 minutes!  It can also be recharged from the regenerative braking system or directly from the V8 engine.

An Evolved Design…

Words don’t usually justify the looks of a Lamborghini, do they? The Temerario is simply spectacular to look at with plenty of new design elements while retaining the charm of the Huracan. The fascia features sleek headlights positioned above the unique-looking hexagon-shaped LED DRLs. You get sharp cuts on the bonnet for an aggressive look.

The silhouette looks very aerodynamic, which, along with the sharp side skirts, supports the aerodynamics and increases downforce at the same time. It sits on striking 20-inch alloy wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear. The rear end looks busy with plenty going on in the middle section that is flanked by hexagonal tail lights. The centrally mounted rear exhaust further adds to the sporty quotient.

Interior: Revuelto-like?

The interior of the Temerario looks very similar to the Revuelto, featuring a similar dashboard design and layout. However, the similarity is not a bad thing as the cabin provides the perfect blend of sportiness and sophistication. The interior is full of top-notch materials such as carbon fibre, leather and Corsatex by Dinamica suede. Furthermore, there is also a sense of practicality with storage spaces for your mobile and wallet in the lower centre console. For enthusiasts, there are also optional carbon fibre sports seats.

As with most Lamborghinis, the push start-stop button is fighter-jet inspired. There are plenty of screens, including a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system (portrait style) and a 9.1-inch passenger entertainment screen. For convenience and comfort, the driver gets an 18-way adjustable seat which is both heated and ventilated.

Who Is It Gonna Rival And How Much Would You Have To Shell Out For One?

The Lamborghini Temerario is expected to be priced at around Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom). It will lock horns with the likes of the McLaren 750S, and the Ferrari 296 GTB.

The Huracan has arguably been the most popular Lamborghini in India, probably alongside the Urus. However, it's time for a new chapter and a new supercar to take the junior Lamborghini spot! Are you excited for the launch of the Temerario? Let us know in the comments section.
