  • Toyota Innova Hycross has an average waiting period of 3.5 months.

  • Bookings have been open since late November

  • Hyderabad has the maximum delivery time of up to 4.5 months.

  • Gets non-hybrid and strong-hybrid petrol powertrains, no diesel.

  • Prices range between Rs 18.30 lakh and Rs 28.97 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Toyota Innova Hycross has been received well by the people. That statement is backed by the waiting period racked up by the MPV that goes up to 4.5 months in one of the major Indian  cities. Bookings for the MPV began in late November, and its prices were announced towards the very end of December 2022.

Let’s see how much you’ll have to wait in major cities throughout India if you were to put down your name for the MPV today:

The Innova Hycross has a waiting period of 3.5 months on average. Even at the earliest, you’ll have to wait a month to get the keys for the MPV. Metropolitan cities like Bengaluru, Gurugram, and Delhi have a four-month waiting period, while the waiting period in Hyderabad peaks at 4.5 months, the maximum for the Toyota MPV.

We reckon these waiting periods are only going to go up with time. Blame Toyota if you want but the new generation MPV isn’t the same affordable (relatively) MPV anymore, thanks to a more premium set of clothes. But fret not, the previous generation MPV isn’t going anywhere. In fact, it has made a comeback with a few nips and tucks, and pre-launch bookings for the same are open for a token of Rs 50,000.

Yes, both the MPVs will be sold together, with the new one being a petrol-only offering (with non-hybrid and hybrid powertrains), while the previous-gen model will stick to its diesel engine.

Toyota retails the Innova Hycross between Rs 18.30 lakh and Rs 28.97 lakh (ex-showroom). It offers a premium package against the likes of the Kia Carens, Mahindra Marazzo, and the Toyota Innova Crysta. The Kia Carnival can be considered a more premium alternative to Toyota’s MPV.
