Skoda India has given the Kushaq SUV minor enhancements that include one design and two feature updates. All of the changes are limited to the SUV’s higher-end Style and Monte Carlo variants. Let’s take a closer look at what all has been changed in Skoda’s compact SUV.
The main design update for the Skoda Kushaq is the new 17-inch monotone alloys that replace the dual-tone ones in the Style variant. Must say, we prefer the older dual-tone units that looked a tad more premium than the new 5 dual-spoke alloy rims. In the Monte Carlo trim, the same is offered in a dual-tone finish.
Skoda has also introduced two new features in the Kushaq: powered front seats and footwell lamps. Both of these comfort-based features, once again, are offered in the Style trim and upwards.

The Skoda Kushaq is offered with either a 115PS 1-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol or a 150PS 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. A 6-speed manual is standard, while automatic options include a 6-speed torque converter for the small engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic for the larger unit.
As part of the festive season offers, Skoda has dropped the Kushaq’s entry-level pricing to Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to lock horns with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate and VW Taigun.
