UPDATE: The 2023 Tata Nexon has been launched in India. Prices here.
The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift now has much more features than ever before. And inside the cabin, the subcompact SUV relies heavily on screens for most of its features. This includes a fully digital 10.25-inch driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a touch-based panel for the climate control functions.

One of the biggest updates in the Nexon is the new infotainment, which has much slicker graphics and response times than the archaic 7-inch unit from the outgoing model. But the screen can get glitchy at times, and may even completely freeze at certain occasions, which it did in our brief stint during our first drive review. Fret not, though, as Tata has thought about it and there’s a particular method to reboot the infotainment system.
Here, editor Tushar Kamath explains the process in our Instagram reel:
The updated Nexon gets a heavily overhauled exterior and interior, plenty of new features, bolstered safety kit with six airbags as standard, and new transmission options with its 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. For our impressions on the facelifted subcompact SUV, you can check out our in-depth first drive review.

Pre-launch bookings of the facelifted Tata Nexon are open and prices will be announced on September 14. Considering the amount of changes, we suspect it to command a noteworthy premium over the outgoing model, which was priced from Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to rival the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite and upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift.
