Toyota introduces a new delivery initiative for the safer transportation of customer vehicles to delivery touchpoints.
Customers’ vehicles to be delivered on flat-bed trucks to Toyota touch points.
This new service will not incur any additional cost to customers.
Initially it will be offered through 130 dealerships across 26 states.
Toyota India is set to enhance its car buying experience in India with a new car delivery initiative. Known as the ‘Awesome New Car Delivery Solution,’ it ensures secure transportation of customers’ cars from stockyard to delivery touch points on a flat-bed truck. Here are all the details.

The primary focus of this initiative is to streamline the car delivery process without the need for dealer staff to drive new cars to the sales outlet or delivery touchpoints. This ensures vehicles reach customers safely and efficiently. Additionally, Toyota won't charge any premium if you choose to avail this service.

Toyota will initially offer this service through 130 dealerships across 26 states. An additional benefit is that transit insurance will be provided by the insurance companies for added protection of vehicles during transportation. The carmaker also states that with this initiative, new vehicles will reach dealerships safely, even in rural and semi-urban areas where last-mile logistics pose challenges.

This is really useful for those customers who prefer to take delivery of their vehicles with minimal odometer reading and other people driving it before them. Commenting on this, Mr. Sabari Manohar, Vice President of Sales-Service-Used Car Business at Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM), emphasised the company's commitment to customer-centricity. He also highlighted that the ‘Awesome New Car Delivery Solution’ initiative illustrates TKM's dedication to excellence and innovation.

The current Toyota portfolio in India includes Glanza, Rumion, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, Hilux, Fortuner, Camry, Vellfire, and Land Cruiser. You can visit our Toyota brand page to learn more about each model.
