With breakfast done, it was time for a fun activity. We decided to head to Pune’s Trampoline park. This meant driving through the city. The Thar’s great all-around visibility and high seating position helps you feel at ease even when in more crowded situations.

Also, with the 4x4 shift lever gone, you have a large enough pocket to keep even Nabeel’s ginormous cell phone. This, combined with the large open storage in the centre console makes the Thar’s cabin a very practical one.

Next on the list was go-karting at Pune’s famous circuit - Pune Kartdrome. The Sun was setting and the lights were coming on. While this meant our day with the Thar was over, the action had just begun.

With the two-wheel-drive variant, the Thar has become more affordable and feels like the obvious choice if you are looking for a lifestyle vehicle which will see more tarmac than dirt.
