Mahindra Thar Roxx fans, rejoice! You can now finally have a proper feel of the off-roader as test drives have commenced for the Mahindra Thar Roxx. And if you’re impressed post your test drive, bookings for the elongated Thar are set to commence from October 3 onwards. Deliveries for the Mahindra Thar Roxx are set to commence from Dussehra, which is on October 12.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is offered in six variants: MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L and AX7L. As for colour options, you can have the SUV in seven hues: Tango Red, Everest White, Nebula Blue, Battleship Grey, Burnt Sienna, Deep Forest and Stealth Black. 

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Features Onboard 

The Mahindra Thar Roxx comes packed with all the niceties you’d expect from a SUV at this price point. Highlights include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger and a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. 

Safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors with 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake with auto hold and Level-2 ADAS.

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is priced between Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Do note that prices of the four-wheel drive variants are yet to be announced. The Thar Roxx locks horns with the Force Gurkha 5-door while being a larger alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny. Its pricing also puts it against compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara.
