Porsche Opens Bookings For The New Cayenne In India

The Stuttgart-based carmaker has said it will commence deliveries of the new model from July 2023

Porsche India has opened bookings for the new facelifted Cayenne moments after its global debut earlier this week. The Stuttgart-based carmaker, known for its sports cars, has also added that it will start delivering the new model as soon as July this year. Yes, we were expecting the SUV to make its way to India, but not this soon.

That said, this news comes across as no surprise for us. Porsche brings all its models to the Indian market as fully imported models and on an order basis only. So that clearly explains why the carmaker is commencing bookings for the new model. A big thumbs up from us as we rarely see these expensive cars coming to India soon after its global debut.

Currently, the Porsche Cayenne is priced from Rs 1.26 crore, and we suspect the new model to command a premium over it. When it goes on sale, it will lock horns with the Audi RS Q8, Lamborghini Urus, BMW X5 M, and the Mercedes-AMG GLE.
