The bigger and more powerful version of the Mahindra Thar competes with the other off-roaders, one of which is the Maruti Jimny. The Price Gap

Both the Thar Roxx and the Jimny have a similar starting price, but the price gap between the top-spec variants is over Rs 5.5 lakh. The prices of the Thar Roxx are expected to be even higher with the inclusion of the 4WD variants, however, these high prices are also due to the presence of a diesel powertrain, along with a bigger size and more features.

Size Difference

There is a big size difference between the two SUVs. While the Jimny stays under the 4 metre mark, the Thar Roxx goes well over it. However, if you want a better road presence, more powerful engine options, and all the bells and whistles of a premium SUV, then you should consider the Mahindra Thar Roxx. It will be heavier on the pocket, but the additional cost will give you a more premium experience.
