Closely sharing underpinnings with the XUV400, it boasts a large battery pack, segment-first features and revised styling as well. Here is all we know about it:

2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Exterior
Starting from its exterior design, the XUV 3XO EV follows a similar design philosophy as its IC-powered sibling. At the front, it has a body-coloured faux grille, along with hexagonal headlamp clusters with ‘C-shaped’ DRL signatures, while at the bottom, it has a shapely bumper with a faux skid plate on the lip. However, being an EV, it gets all logos finished in copper for a unique touch.

Move on towards the side, and you still have a familiar picture. The bonnet is flat, while both front and rear fenders get a muscular crease for better road presence. It also gets 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels as well.

Move on to the rear, and you have a connected LED strip, which flows into the ‘C-shaped’ taillamp cluster. At the bottom it gets a layered bumper with thick cladding and a more prominent faux silver skid plate.

2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Interior
Inside, the XUV 3XO EV gets a premium-feel, with soft-touch materials and black upholstery. At the centre of the dashboard is a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. If you were not a fan of touch-based climate controls, you will be happy to know that the XUV 3XO EV still gets physical toggles and knobs to control all important functions.

The centre console gets covered in gloss-black inserts, and there are copper accents all over the cabin too.
2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Features And Safety
In terms of the equipment offered, Mahindra is going all the way by offering features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, keyless entry, keyless entry and auto headlamps.

Safety-wise it gets a Level 2 ADAS suite, 6 airbags, 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, electronic stability control and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Powertrain
Underneath, the XUV 3XO can be had with a 39.4kWh battery pack providing a claimed range of up to 285 Km. This gets powered by an electric motor putting out 150 PS and 310 Nm. Here are the XUV 3XO EV’s detailed specifications:

2026 Mahindra XUV 3XO EV: Price And Rivals
Mahindra has launched the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV at an introductory price of Rs 13.89 lakh. It is offered in 2 variants, AX5 and AX7L. It is going to rival other similarly-priced EVs such as the Tata Punch EV and Nexon EV, MG Windsor EV and Citroen eC3.
ZigSays…
With electric power under the hood, the XUV 3XO just got a lot more appealing. With the right dimensions for dense urban confines, a capable powertrain and a long list of features, it is all set to battle out with established segment players. The pricing also looks great, especially for the top-end AX7L, which is fully loaded to the gills and costs just Rs 14.96 lakh, which sounds like a great value proposition.
What’s left to see is how the car performs in the real world condition. Stay tuned to ZigWheels for the first drive review, especially on our social media handles, where all the action happens!
