In a strategic move aimed at enhancing its connection with the Indian audience, Hyundai India officially announced Deepika Padukone as its Brand Ambassador. This collaboration comes as no surprise, considering Deepika's recognition by Time magazine among the world's top 100 influential people.

Expressing his thoughts about this collaboration, Mr. Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., highlighted Deepika's magnetic charm and illustrious career that perfectly align with Hyundai's young and dynamic brand. He also mentioned that the focus is on leveraging Deepika's influence, especially among the vibrant youth, to bridge the gap between Hyundai's cutting-edge automobiles and the aspirations of the energetic and forward-thinking demographic.

Acknowledging the association, Deepika Padukone expressed that Hyundai is an iconic name synonymous with innovation and excellence in the automotive industry. She also emphasized the Korean carmaker’s rich legacy of crafting vehicles that have not only stood the test of time but have also set benchmarks for performance and style.

Hyundai anticipates this partnership to be mutually beneficial, capitalizing on Deepika’s strong emotional bond with the Indian audience, making her an ideal Brand Ambassador for Hyundai Motor India. The automaker also expects to foster a community that celebrates inclusivity and accessibility within the automotive experience.

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan has been the brand ambassador of Hyundai for 25 years, the automaker recently gifted him the Ioniq 5, which is his first EV. Hyundai had also appointed Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya as its brand ambassador for the Exter. The micro-SUV won the Indian Car Of The Year (ICOTY) award recently, and you can check out more details about it over here.
