Volkswagen Taigun Facelift

The Volkswagen Taigun was first launched in India in 2021, and after 5 years of staying in the market, it can be said that it has been due for a major update, and the upcoming facelift is one of the most anticipated mass-market product launches by Volkswagen in India for this year.

The Volkswagen Taigun Facelift is expected to be priced from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Once launched, the new facelifted Kushaq will continue to take on the likes of the Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, and the newly-launched Renault Duster

It will also face heavy competition from its sibling, the Skoda Kushaq, which also got a facelift last month, and the upcoming Nissan Tekton, making the mid-size SUV segment more dynamic and fierce than ever.

ZigSays…

If the Volkswagen Taigun is already on your list, the current model still delivers a strong mix of performance, safety, and features, plus with the stock clearance discounts, it becomes an even more attractive deal, being the smartest time to pick one up. Buyers opting for the pre-facelift model will still not miss out much. That being said, the new model does bring in some unique inclusions in its equipment list, and the exterior is expected to be styled to look more modern and sophisticated. Overall, the Taigun facelift is for sure a car that is worth the wait.
