Land Rover India has debuted the facelifted 2024 Velar on our shores. Available in a single Dynamic HSE trim, it costs Rs 94.3 lakh (ex-showroom), a premium of approximately Rs 4.5 lakh, regardless of the engine you choose. It gets a minor design overhaul and an updated interior with more tech. So without further ado, here’s everything you need to know in our gallery.

The facelifted 2024 Velar introduces subtle yet noteworthy changes to its fascia. Its grille showcases a distinctive insert, creating a refreshed visual identity. Flanking the grille are Land Rover's 'Pixel' LED headlights, featuring a revised DRL (Daytime Running Light) insignia.

When viewed from the side, the facelifted 2024 Velar reveals another noticeable update with the introduction of new and refreshed wheel designs, giving it a breath of fresh air.

At the rear of the 2024 Velar, you'll spot the updated tail lamps featuring a fresh signature design, adding a touch of modernity to the vehicle's rear aesthetics. The facelift also includes subtle revisions to the bumpers at both ends.

Spotting the interior changes in the 2024 Velar is a breeze, thanks to the introduction of JLR's new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen infotainment system. It consolidates all functions, including climate control, into a single interface, eliminating the need for separate AC controls.

As a result, the interior now exudes a more minimalist and streamlined appearance. Furthermore, the steering wheel and digital driver's display have been borrowed from the Range Rover Sport, contributing to an upscale and cohesive interior design.

Features onboard the Range Rover Velar include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, four-zone climate control, wirless phone charger, a 12-speaker Meridian sound system, and powered front seats with heating, cooling and massaging. Its safety kit consists of multiple airbags, electronic stabilty control, hill descent control, hill start assist, electronic parking brake and ADAS.

The 2024 Velar offers a selection of a 250PS 2-litre four-cylinder petrol and a 204PS 2-litre diesel engine in the Indian market. Both engines come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and additionally, all four wheels receive power, contributing to the Velar's traction and handling capabilities.

In terms of handling and ride comfort, the Range Rover Velar gets air suspension on all four corners and a range of off-road capabilities. These include Land Rover's Terrain Response system, featuring various modes that can adjust multiple parameters depending on the terrain you encounter.

The Range Rover Velar competes head-to-head with some formidable rivals in the luxury SUV segment, including the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Volvo XC90, and Audi Q7.
