2024 Mahindra Thar Roxx Gets A New Brown Theme For Its Interior, Available Only With The 4x4 Variants!

The newly launched Mahindra Thar Roxx has garnered a lot of attention since its launch. Even though most of the attention and buzz was for the right reasons, the Thar Roxx still wasn’t perfect. One of the drawbacks was that the interior of the Roxx had a white theme, which definitely looks premium but would be difficult to maintain, especially if you take the car for off-road trails or have kids in the family. 

To solve this problem, Mahindra has now launched a new “Mocha Brown” interior. The new dual tone colour scheme will be available only with the 4WD variants of the Thar Roxx. Do note that deliveries for the Thar Roxx with the new interior will commence from January 2025. 

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Overview 

Up until now, the interior of the Thar Roxx featured a dualtone black and white dashboard with white coloured upholstery. However, the Roxx 4x4 now gets the option of a new brown and black dashboard with brown hue for its upholstery. Apart from the new colour theme, everything else in the interior remains the same. 

In terms of features, it gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, and ventilated seats. 

Key safety features include a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, 6 airbags, ESC, and level-2 ADAS features.  

The Thar Roxx 4x4 variants are available with a sole 2.2-litre diesel engine which produces up to 175 PS and 370 Nm. The engine can be had with both, a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. 

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Price And Rivals

The Thar Roxx 4X4 variants are priced from Rs 18.8 lakh to Rs 22.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while prices for the RWD variants start from Rs 12.99 lakh. The Roxx competes with the Force Gurkha 5-door and is a larger alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
