Maruti Suzuki revealed the e Vitara electric SUV at the Auto Expo 2025 ahead of its expected launch in March. Before its prices get revealed, the e Vitara has started reaching dealerships for you to be able to check out the SUV in person. The e Vitara comes with a rugged design, a cabin loaded to the brim with features and multiple powertrains.
Before you decide to visit your nearest showroom, here is a detailed look at the e Vitara:
The e Vitara gets a modern and rugged design language and looks unlike any of the EVs in the segment. It features aggressive styling elements, including a chunky silver skid plate and blacked-out bumper which houses the fog lamps. The fascia gets striking LED headlights with three-piece DRLs.
It sports blacked-out 18-inch alloy wheels, plenty of body cladding and beefed-up wheel arches. You get conventional door handles for the front door, and unconventional hidden door handles for the rear door.
The rear features sleek and sharp LED tail lights, a shark fin antenna, and a roof-mounted spoiler. Furthermore, you get “e Vitara” lettering on the centre of the tailgate positioned below the Suzuki logo.
The e-Vitara’s interior sports a dual-tone black/tan theme with semi-leatherette upholstery. The dashboard design and layout are completely new and it has a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit which dominates the dashboard. You get vertical AC vents and a two-spoke steering wheel which adds a sporty touch inside the cabin.
In terms of features, it comes with a 10-inch digital driver display, wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a fixed glass roof, a 10-way powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, ADAS, and more! It has also introduced plenty of new features for a Maruti car, and you can check out this story to know more.

The e Vitara is expected to be priced from Rs 17 lakh to Rs 23 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the likes of MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric and Mahindra BE 6.
