Isuzu has unveiled the D-Max EV concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, showcasing the brand’s leap into the electric vehicle space. This electric pickup truck combines rugged design with advanced technology, featuring a full-time all-wheel drive system. With impressive towing capabilities, a high-power motor setup, it promises to match the performance of its diesel counterparts. This is set to launch in Europe in 2025 and make its way to other markets following that. Let’s take a look at the things it brings on the table in the next section.
The Isuzu D-Max EV concept retains the rugged and robust styling the D-Max is known for but incorporates a modern and futuristic touch. The front features a sleek grille-less design, typical of EVs with rectangular inserts. It gets sharp LED headlights and an illuminated Isuzu logo.

In the profile, the muscular wheel arches and bold body lines enhance its aggressive appeal, while the concept sits on large alloy wheels that further add to its off-road-ready stance.

At the rear, the minimalistic tailgate design and signature LED taillights complete the truck's contemporary look.
Inside, the Isuzu D-Max EV concept features premium materials and a clean, ergonomic layout. A large digital driver’s display and a high-resolution touchscreen infotainment system dominate the dashboard, offering seamless connectivity options, navigation, and vehicle controls.
The concept is equipped with smart features such as wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and dual-zone climate control.
The Isuzu D-Max EV concept is powered by a single battery pack option and it is expected to offer a good range on a full charge, making it suitable for urban commutes and long hauls alike. The newly developed e-Axles at the front and rear, combined with powerful electric motors, deliver a seamless all-wheel-drive experience.

The electric pickup also supports fast charging, enabling the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in less than an hour.
