This question is innapropriate. Both are different segment cars. Baleno is a premium hatchback whereas XUV 300 is a sub 4 meter compact SUV. However if you still want to compare both of these, I'll prefer the XUV 300 because of better build quality, more features and safety.

If you have high budget and if you need an suv with loads of features then go for xuv 300 but if you have considerable budget and need a reliable hatch with good performance then go for baleno.
