- Selecting between the Maruti Suzuki Ignis Zeta AMT and Tata Tiago XZA AMT would depend on certain factors such as your budget, fuel type preference, maintenance costs, usability, etc. The Tata Tiago would be a better pick as the hatchback boasts brilliant build quality and the 4-stars in Global NCAP speaks highly about safety. But if you are looking for a small car with attractive styling, decent ride quality and brilliant build quality then it could be a good option. On the other hand, Maruti Suzuki has given the Ignis Zeta variant a feature upgrade that includes a Smartplay Studio 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system which was exclusive to the top-spec Alpha variant. If you are looking for a great little quirky car that packs in a lot then the Ignis would be a great option. - The price of Hyundai Aura starts at Rs. 5.92 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 9.30 Lakh. While, the price of Tata Tiago starts at Rs. 4.85 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 6.84 Lakh. In the BS6 era, the Tiago is powered by a single 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine. It produces 86PS of power and 113Nm of torque. You can have it with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT automatic gearbox. On the other hand, Hyundai Aura comes with three engine options -- 1.2-litre petrol engine (83PS/114Nm) and a 1.2-litre diesel engine (75PS/190Nm) from the Grand i10 Nios, and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (100PS/172Nm) from the Venue. Further, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
- As per your requirements, we'd suggest you to go with the Nissan Magnite. If you want an SUV that’s spacious, practical, well loaded and comfortable to drive, all delivered at a price tag that’s serious value for money, the Magnite is certainly worth considering. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Thanks for your suggestion.
- Nice
- As per your requirement, the Tata Tiago would be a better pick as the hatchback boasts brilliant build quality and the 4-stars in Global NCAP speaks highly about safety. On the other hand, if you are looking for a comfortable car with a spacious cabin, fuel-efficient engine and a reliable service network then you may opt for the Maruti Dzire. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test drive before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Tata tiago has much more safety ratings than any other Maruti cars not just Dzire.
- While the Altroz does not manage to set a new standard in the segment, it will fit right into the mix with a long feature list, sharp looks and a comfortable ride. If you are looking for a car with good road presence, supple ride and great balance between handling and comfort, a spacious cabin and a decent feature list. Then the Tata Altroz would be a good option. On the other hand, the Tiago would be a better pick if you are looking for a compact hatchback with peppy engine, attractive styling and great build quality. Furthermore, Tata is also offering factory-fitted accessory packages -- a first for this segment -- which allows buyers to get more features without going up an entire variant. As the entry-level variant of the Altroz, the XE doesn’t offer much in terms of comfort. But if you’re stretching your budget for a premium hatchback instead of a mid-spec mid-size hatchback, it is worth considering. Also, you may opt for the Rhythm Pack which would add an infotainment system to the XE variant with a 3.5-inch display, 2 speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. - Would you get Altroz for on-road price of 5-6 lakhs as asked in the question? I don't think so. Do read the question in entirelty before answering.
- The question asked here is about the engines. The 4 cylinder power unit on Swift is much smoother, peppy and a reliable engine to rely on. The NVH levels in swift is much lesser in Swift than that of Tiago. The 3 cylinder Engine on Tiago causes vibration and it is very vocal when pushed hard, the reliability of the engine is still a question. Although we can trust Tata for the efforts they have been putting in to keep the flag high as an Indian automobile manufacturer. Keep in mind Even though Tiago is of better build quality, the over all driving experience is better in Swift.
- Previous swift were smooth and reliable but current generation of swift is light and because of that safety has been compromised... and also Tata are doing great job in providing features functions and most importantly... safety!!!Maruti Suzuki people always compromises with safety to cut down the price... but now it's the time for us now to look for the safety also!!
- Maruti suzuki cars especially automatic is a complete failure. I have a maruti swift automatic car (8000km run). For that run itself I have paid 1 lakh rupees (INR) for repair. For their AMT manufacturing issue, customer has to pay full cost and the replaced part ( 80000 rupees) is also not under any warranty. Maruti suzuki cheats customer post buy. I have cars from hyundai, toyota . Never had such experience. Buy maruti cars only you have so much money to donate them.
- A company which is not at all considered safety... Only to take money. Engine may good.. If accident occur customers has no guaranty. So i dislike maruthi. Only thing their services and parts availability is a good. But tata tiago sold above 3 lakh cars in four years. So quite natural now their services have already improved
- I suggest Tiago beacuse of its build qualiy and its high speed stability.always preffer safety as the first concern. I had driven tiago for 130000kms (one lakh thirty thousand kms ) from my experience tiago is such a nice car. Its having a fresh look 8 speaker harman music systemAnd amt is not as laggy as maruthi

- Selecting a perfect car depends on certain factors such as your budget, ride quality, features required, brand preference, maintenance costs, etc. Maruti Suzuki Swift is back to its sporty roots, with the chassis tuned for handling than outright comfort. It is a big improvement on the old car but it's not quite the all-rounder it once was. Whereas, the Grand i10 Nios offers great build quality and interior fit and finish and is well-equipped with a lot of segment first features. As for the Figo, it misses out on bling and feels sober and less upmarket than its rivals. However, it offers an powerful diesel engine, comfortable ride quality, sporty driving traits and brilliant safety features including up to six airbags. Lastly, the Tiago is a small hatchback compared to the aforementioned options. But if you are looking for a small car with attractive styling, decent ride quality and brilliant build quality then it could be a good option. The 4-stars in Global NCAP speaks highly about safety. Now, as per your daily driving requirements, we'd suggest you to opt for the petrol engine. Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and average running of the car. If you drive less then 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially then the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it feasible purchase. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership. - So, we set out to compare the diesel-manual variant of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios against the Maruti Swift and Ford Figo. The Ford Figo has the biggest engine and it is also the most powerful of the lot. In terms of torque too, Figo comes out on top as it offers 25Nm more than the Swift and Grand i10 Nios.

- Tiago XZA seems a better choice- plus points- higher ground clearance, wider tyres (compared to Altroz XE Rythm), steering mounted infotainment controls, better mileage. etc.Minus points- lower safety rating, smaller dimensions(also a plus point), more vibration.
- Go for Altroz if the price difference is not that much. You can add features to the aftermarket. Everything is available in the aftermarket.
- Altroz will be better option. I own xza. I will suggest a step up. Basics are same. You can add features of your taste later.

Good Performance
I recently saw Tata Tiago with one of my office colleagues and am seriously considering purchasing it. Tata Tiago's eye-catching design and brilliant color options immediately drew my attention. The tiny size makes it ideal for managing city traffic, But the large cabin provides passenger comfort. The Tiago's fuel economy is a great benefit Since it corresponds to my everyday commuting requirements. According to my colleague, The Tiago provides a smooth and comfortable driving experience. Tata Tiago is definitely on my list as I hunt for a new car, Thanks to its appealing appearance and great owner feedback.

Strongly suggest
I've been using the tata tiago for a few months now, And i'm happy with its performance and durability. The tiago is a great car for city driving, With its compact size making it easy to navigate through traffic and park in tight spaces. The gearbox is smooth and accurate, And the engine is fast and powerful. The tiago's interior is attractive and cosy, And it includes many amenities like a touchscreen infotainment system and steering-mounted controls. One small negative is the lack of rear legroom, Which can be a touch snug for taller people. In all, I'm quite delighted with my tiago and would strongly suggest it to anybody in the market for a hatchback.
