Avenger has no kick start. Most premium bikes come only with self start and no kick. You are expected to maintain the battery just like in a car. It's problem free.

Cruise 220 comes with spoked wheels, so tubed tyres. The advantage is spoked wheels are more durable, and appear retro, appears More original and appropriate to cruiser bike. Street 220 , 180,160, come with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Cruise 220 can later be fitted with alloys and tubeless tyres, or it's spoked wheels can be modified to receive tubeless tyres in bike modification centers.

  • Q. What is the seating? and what about the sound emission and brake power - Avenger Street 220?
    Shreyash
    Shreyash | 2 months ago

Seating position is very comfortable making long tours a ease. Also with the addition of ABS braking has improved but it still depends on the control that you develop on the bike overtime. Also sound emission is satisfactory unless you are a fan of those loud emissions.

Seating is very comfortable, vehicle sound is very limited in till you maintain it well. It has front disc brakes which are very decent for Indian road conditions

I have Avenger 220 street for last two months and I can say with my experience with it, yes its fuel meter isnt accurate. You cant rely upon it and will have to top up after bike reaches reserve fuel everytime, to be at a safer side. Engine isnt that smooth but its not that much of issue if you ride till 70/80kmph for hours. If you seeking triple digit speeds for long duration from this machine, i suggest you to extend your budget and get another bike. Only concern with gear shifting that i faced is false neutral, but its not that big issue.

  • Q. Hello friends, I want to buy Avenger 220 cruise but I am confused about mileage and chain set?
    Abhishek
    Abhishek | 1 month ago

Mileage is good @40+kmpl on highway and dependent on the riding conditions on city & rural roads. This is after 17k km & 2 years. Chain hasn't been a problem yet, provided routine maintenance has been done.
