No activas are not good for long term use because after certain period of time bike starts to show some niggles and reliability issues for example because activa suspension duty are handled with fork suspension and rear relies on single offset shock arm, are more fragile for intense use and gets damage easily and completely ruins the handling and dynamics of the scooters which is dangerous, secondly because activas 110 cc engine is a carbureted model and if the engine does not heat up at cold starts then serious engine issues comes up, specially in winters engines struggled to heat up and required temperature and when not heated up properly engine will run lean, which is quiet bad for because that would seize the engine and some hefty repair bills, and its cvt gearbox with time and not proper service cvt gets from bad to worst being more laggy between steps ruining overall experience and sometimes cvt doesn't know when to keep the Revs up specially while driving steep roads it's steps up to quickly and engine runs economically this huge lag in power which also in turn is dangerous. But if maintained properly and regular check ups you might have a chance to keep it reliable as new. But i doubt that would happen considering type of service we get here
