That said, Honda now has the Activa 6G, which takes features and technology to the next level, and should help it retain its position as the best selling scooter in the Indian market.

I drove Activa 5g daily

Its the best vehicle i drive and it has more protential than we ever use. I drive it daily and it cost me very minimal service charges.

Low Cost Smooth Ride still holds market

Durable metal Body, "Quick pick and quick Go." "Smooth and stable handling driving in urban traffic " Still going strong and maintain in market 2026. Affordable service cost and low cost. Smooth vibration free driving upto 60 KMPH. Self starting issue in winters are worsen.

Honda Activa , good for middle class fam

It is easy to handle and comfortable to drive, I usually ride at 40-60 kh/h speed and it gives me an average1output of 40-50 kmpl and till now I have got its 3 services done and it didn't cost me anything for1checking but just caused for gear oil change and mobile change.

Activa 5G Key Highlights

Design: The overall design of the Activa 5G is simple and straightforward -- solid metal bodywork from the front to the end with minimal surface changes.

Features: The Activa 5G comes with a full-LED headlight and an analogue instrument console with a digital inset (Deluxe Variant) and service due indicator. Other notable features include a 4-in-1 lock with a seat opening switch, front hook, retractable rear hook, as well as a mobile charging socket that’s offered as an optional extra.

Engine: The scooter is powered by a 109.19cc, single-cylinder engine that puts out 7.96PS at 7500rpm and 9Nm at 5500rpm. It uses an age-old trailing-link suspension at the front and a hydraulic monoshock unit at the rear. For braking, the scooter employs 130mm drum brakes at both ends. Combined Braking System (CBS) comes as standard. The scooter’s 10-inch wheels come shod in 90/90-section tubeless tyres at the front and back.

Rivals: The Honda Activa 5G goes up against the TVS Jupiter. What the Jupiter has going for it though is a telescopic fork, external fuel filler cap, and an optional front disc brake. It packs a slightly more modern CVTi transmission, a broader seat, and has better ride quality. You also have the Hero Maestro Edge with sharper bodywork and features similar to the Jupiter. While the Activa may sound outmatched, it does have Honda's dealership backing, which is second to none.
