The Honda Activa 5G has been my trusted two-wheeler companion for a considerable amount of time, and I would like to share my insights on this scooter. While it boasts several commendable features, I must admit that the fuel efficiency leaves something to be desired, averaging around 25-30 kilometres per litre. The scooter's build quality reflects Honda's commitment to durability, offering peace of mind to owners. Performance: in terms of performance, Activa 5G shines in urban environments. Its peppy engine delivers adequate power for city commuting, allowing for quick manoeuvring through traffic. The scooter's suspension system effectively absorbs road imperfections, ensuring a smooth ride. Mileage: one of the notable drawbacks of the Activa 5G is its fuel efficiency. While it's expected that a scooter's mileage may vary based on usage and conditions, the 25-30 kilometres per litre range falls somewhat short of expectations. For those who prioritize fuel economy, This could be a point of concern. Features: It comes equipped with a range of features that enhance the overall riding experience. Its all-led headlamp provides excellent visibility during night rides, and the generous under-seat storage offers practicality for daily errands. Additionally, the scooter's combi brake system (CBS) enhances safety by distributing braking force evenly between the front and rear wheels. Conclusion: in conclusion, it is a reliable and stylish urban scooter with a few trade-offs. Its design, performance, and feature set make it a worthy choice for city commuting. However, the relatively lower mileage may deter those seeking the utmost fuel efficiency. If you can overlook this aspect, it remains a dependable choice for navigating the urban jungle. Pros:1. Stylish and ergonomic design. 2. Smooth and comfortable ride. 3. Impressive feature set, including led headlamp and CBS. 4. Honda's reputation for durability and reliability. Cons: 1. Lower-than-expected mileage (25-30 km/l). 2. May is not ideal for long-distance travel. 3. Price points may be a bit high compared to some competitors.

Watched tons of reviews before buying activa 5g.Finally after my research purchased it on 29/12/19.But reviewing this today i.E, 24/11/21.Done 15k on odometer with all the free services done, I'm getting an average of about 50 kmpl consistently.Actually i have been getting this average after 1st servicing.Pros: performance: enough pick-up to surpass traffic.Can easily touch 60 kmph but struggles from then but nothing to complain as its a scooter.Mileage: easily 50 kmph if driven economically else 40 in the worst casebuild quality: its a honda product so no complains regarding build quality.Engine reliability & vibrations(if any): honda is among the best in the industry in engine production.Be it engine reliability or vibrations.You do feel vibes after crossing 60 kmph but how many rides a scooter in that speed? features: there are no features as such as its a 3 year old product.After sales service: it has been very good at the moment but a little expensive when compared to hero or even tvs for that matters but overall its fine.Let downs: fuel tank accessibilityfront suspension: as its a hydraulic unit, It reduces comfort by miles.Honda could have gone with telescopic forks for better comfort.Yes now they have added them in 6g but they could have done it earlier.Oem fitted tyres: maxxis tyres got fitted in my bike which are very bad.In the 1st month of my purchase i had a puncture.That doesn't mean i was riding rashly.Till now had 6 punctures(4 in the rear, 2 in the front).Anyhow gonna change the tyres soon.

Its an all-round two wheeler that is to the likes of everyone whether be it the youngsters, Women or the elderly.Its best thing is the sweet, Smooth and a quite engine.The engine is very refined, The best in class in its category of two wheelers, With no vibrations felt and least noise considerably reducing riding fatigue.U can easily feel the difference if you ride any other scooter after riding the activa.As for braking, Its quite good and reassuring even with drum brakes.The bite from brake shoes is strong and the overall vehicle dynamics good enough to bring the scoot to a safe and quick halt without loosing composure even from high speeds.However everything is not good here, The area where the activa lags is the ride quality, Which is real nightmare if you have to move on broken and rough roads, The scoot is really going to rattle you.This is due to its meeker front end suspension and a stiff rear suspension set--up.The front suspension has a trail of only about 7cm, Out of which only 3 to 4 cm is available to taken on the sudden pothole or breaker impact.If the trail was about 9cm or more and wheelbase was slightly longer with a softer rear suspension, The things would have been much better, If honda could consider it.Another thing is styling, Which obviously is a matter of personal taste, Is rather conservative, Very unlike its elder siblings from kinetic-honda two decades back, Which were a real looker with striking and contemporary designs of its times.

Its an all-round scooter which is liked by everyone, Whether be it youngsters, Women or the elderly.The best thing about the scooter is its refined and relatively silent engine.There are no vibrations felt to the rider due to its smooth engine, Which considerably reduces the riding fatigue.You can feel this difference if ride any other scooter after riding the activa.As for braking, Its very reassuring and confidence inspiring, Even with the drum brakes.The bite from the drums is strong, And the vehicle dynamics good enough to bring the scoot to a safe and quick halt even from high speeds, Without losing any composure.However everything is not good here, The ride quality is terrible if you have to move over broken and rough roads, The scoot is really going to rattle you.This is due to its stiff rear and a meeker front suspension with only a trail of around 6.5 cm, Out of which only 3 to 4 cm is available to take on the impact of a sudden pothole or a bump.The things would have been much better if the trail was 9 cm or more with a slightly longer wheelbase and a softer rear suspension, If honda could consider it.As for styling, Its simply conservative, Very unlike its elder siblings from kinetic-honda two decades ago, Which were a real looker with their contemporary designs and high quality paint works.

This is the fact story of how I lost FAITH in HONDA TWO WHEELERS INDIA LTD. I was having good experience with Honda activa since 2011 to 2015 as I was having it in my college days.So in my first job I purchased HONDA ACTIVA 5G LIMITED EDITION on 9TH OF JAN 2020. on very next day of it delivered to me I face the issue of Handle vibration while pickup at start. So I visited the PILOT HONDA SHOWROOM, BHANDUP , MUMBAI from where I purchased the vehicle. They told me that vehicle takes time to get free up so, wait for few days. So I waited for few days. But the problem persisted and is still there. So I visited the showroom again, they asked me to visit their service center. So I visited it today. Serviceman told me that the problem might be with clutch. And they told me the reason behind it 1) Dust in Clutch parts 2) applying break while raising accelerator.But on very second day I faced the same issue and when I visited service center It was just 148 Kms I drove the vehicle. I literally LOSS the FAITH IN HOND TWO WHEELERS INDIA LTD.THEY GAVE ME FAULTY MODEL. HOW CAN CLUTCH BECOME PROBLEM ON VERY NEXT DAY OR JUST DRIVING OF 148 KMS (WHEN I QM OFFICIALLY RAISING THE COMPLIANT IT IS 148 KMS).VERY VERY SAD AND BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THE REPUTED AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURER
