Though it is suggested to ride your new bike on a constant and economic speed till your first service or 1000km so the joints of pistons and everything else get settle down. The more constant speed the bike runs, the more smooth these fitting settles. This process causes small wearing of the irons and mixes with the engine oil that's why the engine oil is changed at the first service and after the first service, you can ride freely.

After 500 km you feel the chenge in throtel responce, after that you can easily cross 80+ but if you hiting max speed then you realise that it a bit of stress full fod this engine but after 1500 km you feel the smooth throtle responce in high rpm

You can drive anytime you want, speed maintenance and everything are only for old bikes, bikes nowadays come in with lotta technology so it doesn't matter

The overall experience of the bike is not good, Good comfort, Almost good mileage But the issue i faced makes this the worst bike i owned, The tappet noise issue with the engine, And the poor service given by the company outlet service center, And i am still facing the issue and they could not resolve the problem.Dont buy the re himalayan.
