Hero Xtreme 200S Overview

4 Offers Available
Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Xtreme 200S
- Hero Xtreme 200S gets a 130/70-17 rear tyre. Moreover, you may have 140/70 R17 tyre installed at the rear but going for a even bigger tyre then this would not be a feasible idea. Manufacturers do leave some space for customers if they want to install wider tyres. The ideal maximum calculated upgrade that can be done without upsetting the bikes riding dynamics is around 3% of the original size of the wheel rim. Any upgrade above this will result in a noticeable drop in fuel efficiency and compromise on ride and handling. For more details, we would suggest you to get in touch with the nearest authorized service center. Follow the link and select your desired city for service centers.
- Hero Xtreme 200S is available with single-horn setup.

Check out authorised dealership details.

On the other hand, Hero Xtreme 200S is the most affordable full-faired motorcycle in the country, It handles corners quite well. You may click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read More: - Bajaj Avenger 160 vs Hero Xtreme 200S
- Avengers good for fat riders and short people 14 bhpHero Extreme is good more 19bhp
- Xtreme 200s, you should consider avenger only only if you're below 5'4
- Hero Xtreme S is a good bike and could be a great option for those who wants a more powerful commuter motorcycle, which looks stylish and generally rides well. The bike doesn't feel sporty as it should but while Hero hasn’t nailed the sportiness aspect of the Xtreme 200S all the way, what they have nailed absolutely bang on is the price and making it the most affordable full-faired bike in the country. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Seriously?112? Man I think you are riding the bike on moon, come back to earth as soon as possible, I own one of these and I made a top speed of 119 that to without full throttle as it only completed 1st service I don't want to spoil the engine this is a good machine go for it
- S but top speed is less 112 always it should be 149
- Hero Xtreme 200S features a low 795mm seat height, slightly rear-set footpegs, tall handlebars and an almost upright riding stance for comfortable rides. It’s a friendly sort of motorcycle that you could use every day which won’t leave you disappointed on a winding mountain road. Moreover, it is powered by a refined and tractable 199.6cc single-cylinder motor with an oil-cooler that churns out 18PS at 8500rpm and 16.45Nm at 6500rpm mated to a smooth 5-speed gearbox. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- S but can,t go above 110
- Hero Xtreme 200R was available with the same 199.6cc engine that can be found on the Xtreme 200S. Moreover, the Xtreme 200R is yet to be launched in its BS6 avatar while Hero has already launched the Xtreme 200S. It's been tuned to make 18PS at 8500rpm and 16.45Nm at 6500rpm, which is 0.4PS and 0.65Nm less than the outgoing BS4 model. - If you want 150cc or above go for any brand other than hero.
- S extreme s for youth r those are 25 to 50
- A carburettor is purely mechanical and doesn't rely on an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) to monitor and tweak the system. In fact, the air-fuel mixture in a carburettor is constant and can only be tweaked or altered by physical adjustments to the carburettor jets. On the other hand, in case of an Fi system, the ECU along with multiple sensors calculate variables to constantly adjust the exact amount of air and fuel mixture required to be burned in the cylinder. This results in better fuel efficiency and swifter response from the engine.
- I don't think fuel injected 200s is launched yet
- Well, the upright, friendly ergonomics and comfortable seating does remind you of the Karizma to a fair extent. But then, the Karizma offered slightly better performance, and certainly better highway legs. However, the Xtreme 200S is the most affordable full-faired bike in the country, even undercutting the Gixxer SF, which offers a smaller engine with lesser power and torque.
- Absolutely not. It has less power, it is lighter, but a nice machine nonetheless
- No this bike review in 200r
- The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has been the benchmark when it comes to 160cc motorcycles. With the BS6-compliant iteration, TVS has made sure it is still as sprightly as ever despite the slight drop in power and torque figures. The overall package and reasonable pricing make it a truly value for money motorcycle in its segment. On the other hand, Hero Xtreme 200S is the most affordable full-faired motorcycle in the country, It handles corners quite well. It offers upright, friendly ergonomics and comfortable seating and at its price, it offers great features and power performance. You may compare both bikes accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
- Pricing is almost similar, but choosing between a fully fared and naked motorcyle depends on your needs. Looks are tollaly subjective.
- Both of them are pretty stylish but xtreme 200s is a pretty eye catcher as i own it ,i experienced a lot. i had many questions asked while riding and halts everyone was curious about it, it's definitely an eye catcher i can assure you , coming to the power i won't say it's a powerful machine when compared to its segment rivals but when compared to 150 and 160 cc motors you will feel this is much faster than those as i rode them all. Coming to comfort it's way better than gixxer and even for pillion comfort it's promising.
- For style no doubt gixxer is the winner but xtreme has more power and torque
- Hero Xtreme 200S features a comfortable seat for both pillion and the rider. Moreover, comfort is something that is best judged personally. So, we'd suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of comfort and performance. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
- By comparison it is fairly comfortable than othe fully fared bikes
- Yes
- Yes. You just have to download the hero ride guide app on play store and connect it with your bike and you are good to go
- Yes. You just have download the hero ride guide app on play store and connect it with your bike and you are good to go !
- Hero Xtreme 200S comes equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation.
- Ignis and wagon r are two models of maruthi. in mesurements length and width ignis is bigger, hight wagon r is bigger is in millimeaters. but wagon r boot space is very high than ignis. Wagon r have 80 litters more than ignis, how it is possible.?
- We expect lower maintenance cost for the Xtreme 200S, however, for exact costs and charges please connect with the nearest authorized service center. Follow the link and select your desired city for service centers.
- Bajaj Pulsar 180F captures the essence of the Pulsar 220F and is an ideal motorcycle for those who wanted the larger Pulsar but didn’t have the budget for it. Moreover, the only reason we see someone purchasing the Pulsar 180F over its larger sibling is if the buyer is on a tight budget. But, even around the same price point, you also have better options such as the Hero Xtreme 200S. If you are looking for a powerful commuter that can handle the daily duties really well, offers comfortable seating position, looks stylish and rides well then the Xtreme 200S would be a better option for you. As for the mileage, the Pulsar 180F managed to deliver almost 48kmpl in our highway run and 48.95kmpl in the city test. The mileage figure for the Xtreme 200S are yet to be revealed but we expect it to be around 35-40kmpl. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of comfort and compatibility. You may click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- But hero gives the best after sale service, that's why it is the no.1 bike selling company in India
- Thanks a lot.plan to buy xpulse 200 or Xtreme 200S
- Selecting between the options would depend on certain factors such as your budget, features required, ride quality, preference of the segment, etc. The Xtreme 200S could be a good potion if you are looking for a more powerful commuter motorcycle, which looks stylish and generally rides well. On the other hand, the overall package and reasonable pricing make Apache RTR 160 4V a truly value for money motorcycle in its segment.TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has been the benchmark when it comes to 160cc motorcycles and offers great ride quality and handling dynamics and a feature-rich instrument console. As for the Yamaha FZS-FI V3, if fails to impress in every aspect except for the comfortable ergonomics and braking power. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Get the RTR 4v, looks are subjective, but as for performance it's best in the segment.
- Thanks a lot sir😊🤟
- As of now, the brand has not revealed the mileage and top speed of the Hero Xtreme 200S BS6. The bike offers friendlier ergonomics and a low seat height of 795mm, slightly rear-set footpegs, tall handlebars and an almost upright riding stance. As for the performance, the bike doesn't feel sporty and it's a friendly sort of motorcycle that you could use every day which won’t leave you disappointed on a winding mountain road. Moreover, there are no riding modes on offer. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Bottom end is good but mid and top rpm range has very poor performance due to lack of 4 valves. All other 200cc bikes, even some 160 cc bikes have 4 valves for efficient intake and exhaust.
- When it will be available in all hero showrooms

very smooth engine, had some issues while buying but that issue was with the showroom guys. The engine is super refined and quick acceleration very good mileage (45+) even before the 1st service, I was waiting for the fuel to run out but it doesn"t. A gorgeous looking beauty, definitely an eye catcher, everyone was gazing at it and even the exhaust sound will surely attracts your ears. Overall, I just love having it and a huge thanks to HERO for giving me this machine
