Updated: August 2026. The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross 2022 is an upcoming SUV expected to launch in India at an estimated ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom). It is expected to get 1.5L petrol engine, a manual transmission. Once launched, it will rival the Tata Sierra, Mahindra Thar and Nissan Tekton.

Suzuki has taken wraps off the new-gen S-Cross in Europe. It sports a completely redesigned exterior with a more upright stance to give it an SUV look. The interior gets a few touch ups, gets a larger touchscreen infotainment system, and packs the latest technology, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
That said, Maruti Suzuki is yet to give a word about the new-gen S-Cross’ India launch. Expect it to happen sometime in 2022 at prices starting from Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom, India) onwards. It will renew its rivalry with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, and MG Astor.
